We also offer group instruction in guitar.
Lessons are scheduled in 30 minute time blocks. Lessons are taught between 2 and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Philosophy: Music is meant to be enjoyed, first and foremost. Skill is developed through the combination of the love of music, discipline, and performance.
Our students are encouraged, but not forced, to perform:

Many other opportunities come up throughout the year, such as guest appearances with the Jazz for Juniors program.
Our students have gone on to perform regularly at venues such as The Webster Theater, CBGBs, Tuxedo Junction, The Paramount Theater at Madison Square Garden, Hard Rock Café Times Square, Madison Square Garden, Shea Stadium, Bridgeport Bluefish Stadium, and more. Some have recorded CDs of their original material and either have or are pursuing recording contracts.
Lessons are scheduled on a recurring weekly basis and must be arranged by telephone. Cost is $37.50 per lesson and we require lessons to be paid for monthly in advance. Cost for group instruction in guitar is $30 per class.
